Helping
Nf Ireland
You can help by joining our association and thus assisting
us in the achievement of our objectives. We welcome interested parties
from any background, be it sufferer, family member, medical practitioner,
medical specialist, geneticist or scientist.
To provide an adequate service and meet the need of sufferers there
is an urgent requirement for voluntary support both in Dublin
and throughout the Provinces.
The aim is to set up a number of Local Support Groups throughout
the country who will come together occasionally and over a cup of
coffee to share their experiences of living with Nf. They will also
communicate their requirements to the main body of the association
and work with them on ways of improving services for sufferers and
their families. These groups will also liase with the local Health
Boards on Grant aid and on matters affecting the lives of those
suffering with Nf.
So if you feel you have an hour or two to spare why not get in
touch with the Association now. Your support and help will be much
appreciated.
