At NF Ireland we aim to be a voice for NF patients and their families. During our work we often meet people who work hard to raise awareness for NF and to fundraise so that we can continue to be a voice for NF patients and their families. We call these people our NF Hero’s
To honour these great people we have created this new section of the site. This section looks to honour those champions and how they have helped raise awareness for NF. If you would like to nominate a NF Hero please, send a brief paragraph or 2 along with a few pictures to info@nfaireland.ie
At the AGM/Open Day 2016, Shannon Brady was presented with an award by Gareth Curran and Paul Fox for her dedication to promoting awareness of Neurofibromatosis (NF). Well done Shannon, very well deserved!d
A huge thanks to many women running/walking in the VHI Mini Marathon. You turned but despite the terrible weather and did both us and yourselves proud. We truly appreciate your generosity in helping us to support the may NF Fighters in Ireland.
Master Douglas TaeKwon-Do Schools organised a Kickathon for NF in their Adamstown, Greenhills, Kilternan Schools on May21st. Together they achieved over an astounding 30,000 kicks combined, raising over €800 and counting in the process. Thank you to everyone that was involved.
Elite Taekwon-Do Schools organised a Kickathon on May 27th for NF in their Skerries and Loughshinny Schools raising over €350 and counting. We thanks for truly being our NF Champions.
