Fergal Griffin - General Manager
Fergal Griffin serves as General Manager of the Neurofibromatosis Association of Ireland, where he leads national advocacy, patient support, governance, and awareness initiatives for individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).
Under his leadership, NF Ireland has strengthened its national profile and clinical engagement, including supporting the establishment and development of the NF1 Clinic at Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin. He has overseen national awareness campaigns, policy engagement initiatives, and expanded collaboration with European and international NF networks.
Fergal’s work is focused on improving access to multidisciplinary care, advancing research engagement, strengthening organisational governance, and ensuring that the lived experience of the NF community informs policy and service development in Ireland.
Laura Perez - Treasurer
Laura joined the Neurofibromatosis Association of Ireland in 2025 as Treasurer and is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s financial management, governance, and compliance.
She brings over 24 years of experience across consulting and industry, with particular expertise in commercial and tax law. Laura has extensive experience in financial oversight, risk management, and strategic process improvement.
Her combined industry and advisory background enables her to support NF Ireland in maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening the organisation’s long-term sustainability.
